Get to know the brand!

Shea Skin Co. is a brand founded by Amelia Thermopolis, an expert in the beauty world with 20 years of experience. The name Shea Skin was inspired by her love for skincare products that contain Shea Butter. Back in Kenya where our brand is oriented, Shea Butter is highly known in many skincare products to help maintain moisture as the weather there can be sunny all day. Our skincare brand later was developed out of passion from Amelia towards having healthy and glowing skin. Starting with wanting to have an all-in-one skincare product that is also free from white casts, she finally created a moisturiser that is also a sunscreen with SPF that was soon named “SS Cosmetics”, whereby the “SS” stands for the name of the company itself, “Shea Skin”.
